Petco's new Welcome to the Family offer for new pets (up to $650 value)

We are looking (and looking and looking) for a new puppy to add to our family. We had agreed to allow our son to adopt a puppy, but had put it off last year while our house was on the market and we had a move planned.

Now that we're settled (and our cats have acclimated to the new house), we have been searching for a new puppy to give a fur-ever home to.  Sadly, locally, all we seem to find are cats that need homes and not puppies.  But we haven't given up and plan to attend some adoption events at pet stores in the near future.

Since we are planning to (hopefully) add a new member soon, I was excited to read about Petco's Welcome to the Family offer for new pets.  Their website indicates that you need to ask for the Welcome to the Family care packs, which include up to $650 in savings on food, services, vaccinations, etc. as well as guidelines to help you take care of your new pet and check lists to make sure you're buying everything your pet will need.

Veterinary care in my area is very pricey, so I'd definitely take advantage of cheaper vaccinations via a coupon.  It's been 20 years since I have had a puppy.  I might need a refresher course!
