Throx Socks Review & Giveaway - Throx Socks Not Just For Kids!

I recently received a set of Throx Socks to review and the set that I received was the Crimson and Wavy Gold, pictured below:

Yes, those are really my feet.  I wear a size 8-1/2 women's shoe by the way.  What I really liked about Throx Socks was all of the festive patterns.  Touted as the 'cure for the missing sock', what did I think of that?  Well, you might notice I took a picture of the Throx socks with one on each foot.  I, um, was unable to immediately locate the triplet sock, so.... what do I think?  I think it is a really good thing that these things come in threes so I could at least make a pair!

What did my 9 year old think?  She's begging me for these socks.  Really, truly.  The folks at Throx sent me some extra sets to giveaway, and she's been eying them and just asked me (for the fiftieth time) if she could please just have that blue pair (sic)?  Sorry charlie!  Those are for the giveaway.  I'll have to get her her own!

I did wash and wear these a few times and the only things that I would note was that they shrunk just a little bit and there was a little bit of piling at the heel after one wash and wear.  Here's a picture of the sock before I put it on my foot:

Of course, seeing that sock shrink to more of a kid-sized sock made my 9 year old grin with glee thinking she'd get this set of socks.  Nope!  These are stretchy socks and they stretched right back over my big feet and didn't even feel tight.
