Did you catch royal wedding fever?  I didn't get up before the roosters to watch the whole ceremony, but I did catch the newlyweds as they exited the Abbey and proceeded home for the first kiss.  

I watched that first kiss (and the second too) and was very happy for William and Catherine.  He deserved to be happy after losing his mother in such a horrific way.  

When I was contacted to either review or giveaway a copy of the BBC's upcoming release, The Royal Wedding - William & Catherine, I jumped at the chance to offer up a copy to my readers!  I know that modern day fairy tales exist and William and Catherine are proof that you don't have to be a true Princess to marry a Prince!  Take a look at that first kiss one more time in this picture.

I remember them coming onto the balcony.  They had the same gleeful looks that my own husband and I had after our wedding.  True, we had no balcony appearance to make, but we did visit my grandmother at her nursing home right after the ceremony so that she could share in our joy (and see the dress).  We processed in and let me tell you, there were so many happy residents who didn't even know me from visiting my grandmother that were smiling and truly happy for us.  I believe the large crowd gathered below were there to share in the couple's joy.  I was very surprised that they obliged the crowd with a second kiss, which was a bit longer than the first, I think.  You can see the BBC's clip of that first kiss here.
