Today is the magical day that you can start your point transfer. I just logged in about 6:45 this morning and claimed a Golden Key. I really hope it is worth it since BzzAgent decided to go with MyPoints and convert all Bzz Points to MyPoints at an 8:1 ratio. That means the 200 Buzz Point key is worth roughly $10 worth of MyPoints. I am hoping to save the key for a campaign I really, really want, though I have read that some campaigns you can't use your Golden Key to get into anyway.
Ignoring my Golden Key purchase, I transferred about $35 worth of points. From following some threads, many agents are not happy with this transfer ratio. If you do the math, even at 30 points for an average, not stellar, report, you will need to file at least 6 reports per campaign to be able to redeem for a $10 gift card at MyPoints. But at least with this system, agents can actually get a reward that is not an ugly troll or a charitable donation to causes you do not care to support.
While I wish I could have gotten more, I am trying to think that at least I can get a reward now without feeling like I need to rush into a campaign and hurry to file a bzzreport so that I can have a chance of sitting on my computer all day waiting for a reward to pop up in a particular campaign. I do think that the MyPoints conversion, though rough at first for some, will be a lot better for agents in the long run. Now we just have to pray that MyPoints stays stable and doesn't disappear into the night, like so many other rewards programs in the past.
So, if you are an agent, get on over to Bzzagent and convert your points before June 9, else they'll be gone forever.

As someone who's been using mypoints for a long time I'm SO happy with the partnership between mypoints and bzzagent. Adding my bzzagent points to the points I already have on mypoints and I'm just going to get mypoints rewards even faster. I don't think bzzagent could have done much better. I'm excited about this!
I really like MyPoints. I don't mind clicking on "spam" if I get 5 points each time. The whole first year, I did not shop through their site and still got several gift cards between the 5 point emails and the surveys :)
