Kmart Super Doubles - what did you pick up cheap?

I've been waiting (and hoping) that Kmart's super doubling promotion would make its way back to my neck of the woods and it finally has! Since I needed to go to town anyway, I made a pit stop at the Kmart to snag a few deals. Granted, since Sears bought out Kmart after their infamous bankruptcy a few years back, I don't go in much since Kmart's prices went sky high on many items leaving me to wonder why anyone shops there when most of their prices are higher than even grocery store prices. But, I digress....

One hot item I picked up free after super doubles is the Gillette Body Wash. It is advertised as 2 for $8, but rang up at my store as $3.99 (oddly, its shelf price before sale...) and the coupon doubled up to the full amount off. I had been told before that the register would not do this when I asked the last time, so it was a pleasant surprise once I saw the price come up and the coupon come off. That coupon appeared in this weekend's P&G insert, so those who get multis can nab enough body wash to last a long time.

Another good deal I picked up was Beneful Snackin' Slices. Even dogs need treats some times, and the $2 coupon doubled off to make this item just .99. (I am thinking, though, that the shelf price was $4.49... and I have read of others finding items ringing up for more than the shelf price, so be careful and scan these items first if you can.)

Of course, other items ended up in the cart (I am sure that is just what they are hoping for this holiday season... since this promo is nationwide and timed for the week after Black Friday), but all in all, I got a few things I could use very cheaply. Just watch the prices since even doubling a smaller coupon may not net you a good deal after all due to the monstrously high prices on every day HBA and food items. However, if you still have some Kelloggs $1 off 1 coupons, you could get some cereal dirt cheap as they do have some on sale for 4 for $10.
