I previously posted about some Summer Reading Programs for kids that offer rewards... here is another one that is noteworthy, provided that you have a TD Bank nearby!
At TD Bank, kids can earn $10 for reading 10 books. You simply download the log and when complete, take it to a TD bank for redemption. Note: your child won't walk out with ten bucks, but rather the money is deposited by the bank into either an existing TD Bank account or one that you can open at that time for your child. Still, ten bucks is ten bucks and even if you don't have an account for your child at TD Bank, it is still worth doing since kids should be taught early on about the value of saving money for a rainy day.
