I grew up on Alvin and the Chipmunks. The cartoon was on Saturday morning and I got to know them and their personalities quite well. Alvin was always one to lead the others into trouble, while Simon definitely preferred books. Theodore, well, he loved food! Of the three, I was more of a Simon than anyone. In the sequel, Alvin, Simon & Theodore meet the Chipettes.

For us, we would probably purchase the DVD/BluRay combo pack. We prefer to watch our movies in BluRay, but recognize that you can't play BluRay in the car's DVD player. So for us, a combo pack is a good thing because we get the best of both worlds.
