California Pad's Information Organizer:
This handy organizational tool has 6 dividers with pockets, 6 double sided pockets, 12 business card sleeves and 74 stickers to label the dividers. This all-in-one organizer has pockets for those press releases that come with products and business cards for when a PR rep is thoughtful enough to include one in with the review item. I currently have my daughter's birthday party list and addresses, along with the invites in a pocket. There's even room for my tax information in here. Each section has its own sleeve for business cards, which is very nice. I can devote a section to household things and if I don't remember the AC guy's name off hand, it would be right inside at my finger tips. This product has many uses and can be a great organizational tool for important papers so that they are all kept in a safe location.
The Charleston Bookmark and Flags:
The Charleston Bookmark and flags features a 2011-2012 monthly calendar. There's also 250 sticky note flags in colors that I actually like (as in not bright neon!) I use sticky flags for many things - including marking frequently used recipes in my favorite cook book. This is very helpful to me since I'm missing a few pages of the index. I also sometimes use them as a book mark and when I worked outside the home, I used them to mark places where clients needed to sign.
The Errand Runner:
The Errand Runner is nice. It's a tear pad set up from 7 AM through 9 PM so you can write things you need to do by the hour on your list. I sometimes need to make calls between certain hours, so this is nice to help me remember to call when I need to call. I'm generally not scheduled overmuch with activities, but I do see its usefulness in planning out my day. If you write it down and assign a time, you are accountable to yourself. I try to get my blogging done in the early morning before noon and then later at night. I sometimes need a written list of To-Do's to keep on track.

I always lose my water bill...ALWAYS. I try to keep up with where I put it by putting it in the same spot each time...in the middle of my kitchen table, lol. Then people move it, so it's totally NOT my fault, lol. This might help me keep it to where I know where it's at!

My challenge is shredding! I have a 23 month old and a 3 year old, so I keep the shredder put up. Then I make a pile of stuff that needs to be shredded when they are otherwise occupied. Soon, that pile is a mountain and shredding is a dreaded chore!

ReplyDeleteWhat is my greatest organizational challenge when it comes to record keeping for my home? I am a list maker and I depend on them to get things done. Since I started using a computer, my biggest problem is forgetting the things I need to do when I'm out so I get things done once I'm home. I need something besides a computer that can be on the go with me.
