Monte Carlo with Selena Gomez: Must see with your daughter!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Monte Carlo for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you heard about a new Selena Gomez movie, Monte Carlo, in theaters Friday? I've read a little bit about it and I have got to say, I'm a little excited.  The premise of the movie is that Selena Gomez' character becomes an accidental heiress while on a summer trip to Paris.  I'm sure it will have a good message and to be honest, as a parent, I like to keep up with what my daughter's role models are doing.  She's gone from loving Zoey (who got pregnant) and Miley Cyrus (who has gone wild with smoking stuff and risquee clothing), so it is nice to have a role model who is at last putting out a positive image.

With a pre-teen, it is important to me to spend time alone with my daughter without her little brother tagging along.  I want her to feel like she can talk to me and I need and want to know what's going on in her personal life at school.  Monte Carlo would be a great bonding experience for us that I'm sure we'll both remember, mainly since we don't go to the movies all that much at all.

You can check out more about Monte Carlo by liking them on Facebook.  Tickets will be available on Fandango on June 29, if you want to make sure you get a ticket for the opening date.

Do you want a sneak peek?  Check out the movie trailer.  I viewed it and even if I didn't have a pre-teen, I'd want to see this movie.  It reminds me a bit of the Princess Diaries movies, but with more friends hanging with the heroine of the movie.  We love all of the Princess Diaries movies, so I know that this one would be a movie we'd both enjoy.
