Synopsis of this DVD:

This half-hour animated comedy series starring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck is no longer confined to 7-minute shorts. Bugs and Daffy are out of the woods and living in the suburbs among such colorful neighbors as Yosemite Sam, Granny, Tweety and Sylvester. In addition to each episode’s main story, The Looney Tunes Show also features “cartoons within a cartoon.” The Tasmanian Devil, Speedy Gonzales, Marvin the Martian and other classic characters sing original songs in two-minute music videos called Merrie Melodies . The legendary Looney Tunes cartoons are getting a 21st century relaunch and a CGI overhaul for a new generation.  4 new episodes on DVD for the first time.

As a kid, I grew up watching Daffy, Granny, Tweety, and the gang.  It's kind of funny, but many times I find myself quoting scenes from Looney Tunes cartoons.  "I tawt I taw a puddy tat!" is something I've said when I saw my husband's cat peeking out from wherever he was skulking.  He looked a lot like Sylvester, actually!  I've also had the "It's Duck Season!... It's Wabbit Season!" debate with my hubby too.  (I know, we're goofy...)


But there's something comfortable and comforting about seeing the cartoons you watched as a kid and Looney Tunes is definitely something I would want to share with my kids.  This title is available now at the WB Shop. (Think Easter Baskets.)
