I've turned on word verification for comments due to an intense barrage of spam in the past two weeks. I'm hoping to stop some spammers. If you're a real person and not a bot, please feel free to comment on any posts you find helpful. Sometimes I feel like I'm hearing crickets!

You've gotta do what you've gotta do. I understand why you've turned on the word verification, but I sure hate those things! Half the time I can't read them...but I read your blog/emails almost every day.
Thanks! I'm hoping to turn them off in a few weeks once the spam bots have given up.
I've moved to Rafflecopter for giveaways, so the verification thing shouldn't be too painful, I hope.
