In the past few months, I've seen several laundry companies coming out with convenient pods for their respective laundry detergent. Recently, ABC News reported on a marked increase poisonings because young children (toddlers) bit into them, which caused more than just vomiting in some instances, requiring ventilators as treatment. If you use laundry detergent pods in your home and have young children, please remember to keep them out of reach, just as you would other household chemicals, as the eye catching colors are too attractive for some young kids.
