Discover Card holders -- be sure to sign up for the next rewards cycle, which is open now. Get 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in purchases at Department stores and online shopping from October through December --- a great way to pad your cash back bonus account for purchases you were going to make anyway due to holiday shopping. I always sign up for whatever promo they have, just in case. And always check for promos before making a big purchase.
