This is my spice rack finally organized with six of the 1/8 size bins. What my husband and I did was pull out all of the spices and sort them into 6 categories: spices for chicken, every day spices (like salt/pepper), flaked spices like mint, chives, etc., baking (ginger, nutmeg, etc.), spices for Italian type of dishes, and one with salts and peppers (celery salt/cayenne pepper).
In all, these have stayed nicely organized since I organized them at Christmas under the new system. I like that I can just pick up the whole bin and have the spices I'd likely want right there when I need them.
Want to get your own? These wedges are available in a variety of sizes at Amazon. 1/4, 1/6, and 1/8, depending on what you might need. Prices vary by size. The 1/8 wedges that I got were $11.99 each.
