My 100th post! Save Fresh Step Paw Points to redeem for prizes

My 100th post, wow. I can't believe that... it just seems like yesterday I was trying to figure out how to make Blogger do what I wanted to do! Trust me when I say the errors were 99% between the keyboard and the chair if you know what I mean.

Moving on.... I wanted to put a link here to the Fresh Step site, which has a rewards program called Paw Points. The gist of the program is that you buy their brand of kitty litter and save the codes, which you enter online. The larger the package of litter, the more points. For instance, I buy the crystals and the bag is worth 80 Paw Points. Not that great of a deal considering that this particular litter costs well over $10 and lasts me only a week. (I know what you are thinking here... I am trying to make ends meet, right? But I abhor clay litter and their boxes are in my bathroom. I can't stand to get those little balls all over my feet when I get out of the shower and clay tends to smear when wet. I would love to use the Feline Pine, but it is wicked on my allergies... but I digress here!)

So what goodies can you get? Well, if you save up enough points, you can get free coupons for the clay litter or the scoopable. Some prizes do require s/h, which can be a detractor, but one thing I have my eye on is the Rolling Pet Carrier. It does require 1,000 points and $10 s/h, but I think it might make a nice prize for me or a nice gift for a cat loving friend! Want to see what other rewards there are? Click here!

Registration is easy and can be done through this link, and watch your emails, as sometimes they do email you codes as a special promotion.

Even if you don't want to save the Paw Points for yourself, you can donate them to Safe Steps Home, which is a program that Fresh Step created with the ASPCA.
