I have been quite lucky to find a few good ones - namely a $25 rebate on a basket ring, no beer purchase required. That was such a nice form to find, since all I needed was a receipt totaling more than $50, which isn't too hard these days! Other than that sweet rebate, I also got a $10 meat rebate tied in with Tyson's chicken, and various smaller rebates that dealt with buying chips, soda, etc. One rebate I am saving receipts for is for lawn furniture, which I don't plan to buy, but the rebate also encompasses soda/pop. Since I can submit multiple receipts and since we drink a lot of soda/pop here, I am hoarding receipts for that rebate and will likely make it to the required amount before the rebate expires.
These rebates are such a help to me since many are no beer purchase required. That is super for us non-beer drinkers out there (or for those of you who don't drink the brand of beer who is sponsoring the rebate.) Summer is generally the time these types of forms are plentiful for me, so it is the time that I stock up my chest freezer by making good use of my Food Saver.
For related content, please read Money Saving Tip: Get a Food Saver Vacuum Sealer where I talk about why everyone should have one (hint: WalMart brand replacement bags are not good!) and Rebates: Not Just for Electronics, what you don't know you are missing where I mention some good places to find rebates. eBay is also another good place to look - just type in keywords such as "meat rebate refund" or "[insert beer company name] refund" and you will likely find someone auctioning off extra forms. Be sure to make note of whether or not they are good in your state, though.
