My main purpose for going to town (other than getting a respite from the kids) was to hopefully grab another set of Fluffer Scuffer slippers for my mother-in-law. Well, Grandpop, if you read my blog, you can let Grandmom know that I was able to find those fluffy bunny slippers in her size and will be mailing soonest!
Since I had thankfully found those bunny slippers, I decided to browse around and found some very nice deals. I didn't pay more than $6 each for the clothes I got for my son. Most things were marked down to $9.99, not much less, but still $6 for a nice dress shirt is a bargain for me. I also spied the cutest Mickey Mouse hoodie sweatshirt, which he loved the minute he saw it (he wanted to wear it to bed!). There were some nice Okie Dokie everyday type shirts on clearance for just $2.99.
Men's dress shirts were about $11 for most that were on clearance. I grabbed hubby a nice green one. I kind of wish he'd have been with me because I know he'd have found many others he liked too. He tends to be fussy with clothes, so I don't buy them for him often unless I am sure he will love them.
Christmas there was also 75% off.
