Jet Blue seems to want to bolster public confidence in their company by offering a special refund program to those who book flights on Jet Blue, and then suddenly find themselves unemployed and needing to cancel their reservations. The refund request comes with some restrictions, however, including many of the normal ones you would expect. Your job loss must be involuntary to count, you must be 18 years or older, no group bookings, the fare shall not have been paid with a gift card, travel certificates, etc. You also must cancel within 14 days.
Still, the offer of worry-free booking at Jet Blue with their Jet Blue Promise Program may attract flyers. I admit that when I booked flights last spring I was nervous at the thought of being unable to cancel and get a refund. The Promise Program does make Jet Blue more attractive than other airlines, given the current economy.
