You all know I have a very soft spot in my heart for Swagbucks.com because I've been able to search and win bucks, which I have cashed out for Amazon.com gift codes. I appreciate all who have used my referral link too!
But my SIL forwarded me a link to mysearchbonus.com and I took a look. You are rewarded 1 point for legitimate, natural searches, which you can save up for gift cards. A $10 gift card (that seems to be the lowest threshold) will take 1,000 points and I did get 50 points just for signing up.
Mysearchbonus.com: What kind of gift cards are we talking about here?
Oh, some really good ones... Not the variety of say, MyPoints, but some ultra useful ones are available for redemption. Here's a preview:
Gas:
At the $10 level (1,000 points): Exxon/Mobil, Shell, Chevron, Sunoco, Texaco, Gulf and more.
At the $25 level (2,500 points): Exxon/Mobil, Shell, Chevron, Sunoco, Texaco, Gulf and more.
Regular gift cards:
At the $10 level (1,000 points): Bed Bath and Beyond, Amazon, Benigans, Arby's, Applebees, Best Buy, Target, Walgreens, Best Buy, Home Depot, and more!
Canadians can participate too!
One very nice thing about mysearchbonus.com is that Canadian searchers can also earn rewards and have their own separate section of gift cards that may be redeemed. I am not saying their list is great (sorry guys!) but there is a $25 Petro Canada gas card available for 2,500 points. The other two gift cards available for Canadian searchers are $25 Best Buy and $25 Blockbuster. The downside is that Canadian searchers won't be able to cash out as quickly.
Electronic rewards available also
The mysearchbonus site also offers the opportunity to redeem points for some electronic items, including an iPod Shuffle (7,000 points), a Nintendo Wii (30,000 points) as well as a few other higher ticket items (think saving up points for a long, long, long time).
I haven't done much with this site, but I'll be reporting back when I am able to cash out. But for now, I do think it is worth signing up. Not many search sites offer points that can actually be redeemed for a reward (which is what really drew me to Swagbucks).
If you do decide to join mysearchbonus.com, please consider allowing me to refer you. Here is my link: http://mysearchbonus.com/?p=join&rid=c878cb22180e1c72ec3acff2d421688c
I did get 50 points as a bonus for signing up under a friend, so that's something! Also, for each friend you refer, you will get matching points up to 100 points (100 of their searches).

mysearchbonus may or may not send gift cards to you. When you redeem your points, you are requested to wait 8-10 weeks for processing. I'm still waiting 12 weeks later to have my first redemption sent to me.
SwagBucks is indeed much more reliable.
