Summer vacation is either here or shortly will be. Our schools here will dismiss for summer vacation next Friday. Each year, we enroll our kids in our local library's Summer Reading Program where they earn prizes for reading books. The kids really look forward to those prizes and the weeks where they don't read, they are sad they can't get a prize.
Other than your local library, there are other Summer Reading Programs that are noteworthy. Borders, Barnes & Noble, Chuck E. Cheese are just a few. Read on for more info.
