This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dirt Devil. All opinions are 100% mine.
Now that Christmas is only about 10 days away, I am feeling a sense of panic (no, the shopping isn't quite complete), wracking my brain for some good last minute gifts. Since the time constraints are getting tighter by the day, I am confident that I'll be shopping online. But what kind of gifts are perfect for those to hard to shop for people?
The Dirt Devil Buying Guide 2009 has some awesome gift ideas for guys. What do you get a guy who is a bachelor? One great, inexpensive gift idea is a Hand Vac & Stick priced at just under $30. Also great for that bachelor who loves to clean is another Dirt Devil product that will sweep and vacuum - priced at just under $40. I know my brother borrows my sister's vacuum maybe a few times a year to vacuum his bachelor pad. So if you know of a bachelor who could use a nice gift to remind him to keep his apartment tidy, these gifts are great to give.
On their list for gifts for her, they have a hand-held vacuum similar to a Kone, priced at around $50. Hand-held vacs are nice for car touch ups and quick cleaning jobs when hauling out a normal vacuum is just too much work.
These all make nice gifts for college students as well. Though it has been a while since I've seen the inside of a college dormitory, I do remember knocking on many doors looking for someone who had a broom or a mop when our floor got too nasty. Give the gift of cleanliness to a college student! When you are buying things for back-to-school, a hand-held vacuum or floor sweeper aren't generally on your list and trust me, these are things they wish they had at one point or another during the school year (like particularly the day before Parents' Weekend!)
Family gifts are also included in their gift suggestions, including a feather light bagged model that is currently on closeout. Feather light vacuums are much easier for older kids to handle, which means parents wouldn't have to feel guilty assigning vacuuming as a chore. The Closeout model - seen here - is under $50.
Aside from plugging their own products in the Dirt Devil Buying Guide 2009, it is a great resource to download for more than just gift ideas. This buying guide is jam packed with over 300 tips, hints and web addresses that are all designed to help save you money. Even though I am an intrepid bargain hunter, I was able to find some websites I did not know about. These websites are all organized by category, making it easy to know which sites to visit if you are looking for a tech gift for your favorite geek or green gifts for your eco-conscious family member. Also included in the listing of websites are many good deals websites which are worth checking out.
The Dirt Devil Buying Guide 2009 also lists some great tips on how to get free shipping. One tip included performing a Google search for a site name and "free shipping" and also mentioning that many retailers traditionally offer free shipping on December 17, which is typically the last day that retailers can ship and ensure that the package will arrive for Christmas. That date is just a few days away!
Want to check out the gift ideas DirtDevil.com has to offer for him, her or for a family? Please click here if you do. Some items include free shipping (while supplies last) - a link to those is here. Some gifts with free shipping are as low as $39.99.
Finally, I highly recommend downloading and saving and/or printing out the Dirt Devil Buying Guide 2009, which can be found here. It was interesting to find some new sites to check for coupon codes and other hot deals.
