Weekend snow storm = increase in online buying

Here in Virginia where we got well over a foot of snow, the weekend snow storm put a huge damper on what is traditionally a huge shopping weekend for retailers. Those of us who couldn't trudge (or wouldn't trudge) to the mall found that online shopping for last minute gifts was the ideal choice. So if you're still stuck inside due to the Blizzard and don't have your shopping quite done, remember that today is the last full day to order on sites to get it in time for Christmas. I just ordered my parents' gifts and they have already shipped... so one less worry off my mind that they won't make it in time.
