I know, it is a bit early to be thinking ahead to IHOP's annual Free Pancake Day, which happens to fall on February 23, 2010 this year. But since today is Epiphany, it is somewhat natural for my Catholic mind to wander to the next big event in the church calendar (that being Lent.) So mark your calendars for Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday - otherwise known as February 23 - and stop by your local IHOP for a stack of pancakes gratis.
Some details to note: IHOP will give customers a free short stack of pancakes between the hours of 7 AM and 10 PM. All they ask is that you consider making a donation to Children's Medial Network (CMN), a worthy cause indeed. Last year, IHOP's Free Pancake Day raised $1.3 Million dollars for charity. One short stack per guest, while supplies last.
