New Year's Resolution: Remember those bags!

I normally don't make too many New Year's Resolutions, but this year I am planning to make a concerted effort to remember my reusable grocery bags. Granted, CVS will give me 1 ECB for every 4 visits when I use my bag, but having Target give me a 5 cent credit for remembering my bag was pretty sweet too. My local grocery store doesn't offer this incentive, which is perhaps why I simply forget. However, Food Lion's grocery bags are so paper thin that I think I'd really rather have paper than plastic. "Do you want your milk in a bag?" they ask. No, not really. I want it to make it home without hitting the ground first.

It is really sad, too. You can really only put just a few items into their bags because they are so thin. That is an awful lot of waste! Motivate me, Food Lion. Please give me a few pennies for remembering my bags. Meanwhile, I'll try to remember that 3 of your bags = 1 of my reusable bags.

Happy New Year to all! Please join me in my resolution by remembering to take your bags to the store.
