Savings.com a source of online coupons

This post is brought to you from your friends at Savings.com. The opinions stated herein are 100% mine.

I think I have mentioned before that I've cringed when my hubby has ordered things online. He's not one to search for coupons online before making a purchase and that drives me crazy sometimes when I think of the money I could have saved if I'd have been the one to place the order. Maybe he just doesn't know where to look for online coupons, but I do. Savings.com is a site that has a large variety of online coupons to stores that most people shop at on a frequent basis.

They even have a page devoted to coupons for Target, which can come in handy when you are trying to find a coupon to help cover shipping or at least get some kind of discount when you are shopping online. My goal is to find a coupon that at least covers the shipping fees, and usually I succeed. I know I've even emailed family members who planned to purchase Christmas gifts coupon codes to the stores that carried gift ideas that I mentioned to them. (You're welcome, Dad.)

On another note, I am planning to replace my Dell Laptop. My husband recently had a catastrophic loss of his PC (a Compaq) and lost all of his data. We had to replace his laptop, which he purchased at Best Buy. He bought it at the brick and mortar store before I could check for Best Buy coupons to defray the cost. Now that I am planning to replace my own laptop, you can bet I'll be looking for a Best Buy online coupon to use for my own purchase. With Best Buy, you can purchase online, thus able to snag online coupon savings or other rewards for using your credit card, and pick your item up at the store, usually within about 45 minutes. If you are going to make a large purchase, I highly recommend this option. Most of us do tons of research on electronics before committing to a purchase, so browse at the store if you want, but make sure you buy it online. Keep more of those dollars in your own wallet!

I just got a new laptop from Dell. I wanted certain specs so buying from a place like Best Buy didn't work out.

Anyway, you can monitor some of the best laptop deals by utilizing sites like deal2buy.com and bountii.com. That's assuming you are flexible on brands.

Good luck! Mine new laptop arrives tomorrow and I can't wait.
