Thanks for this post goes out to @jcorn1 whose tweet was enticing enough to check out. It led me to an article on The Consumerist that was quite an eye opener. Attention Target shoppers: you should be aware that the shelf tag sale price may actually be more than the normal shelf price!
This is the first that I've heard of this practice. I plan on shopping at a Target tomorrow, so I'm going to do a little checking of my own.
Have you seen this practice at Target? Have you found "sale" prices at Target that were more than the shelf price underneath? If so, please comment. Let everyone else know which Target store you were at and what the item was.

Yes, I've found sale prices to be higher than regular prices sometimes. You can easily find this out IF the sale price sticker is put over the regular price sticker. Peel back the newest price sticker and you might get quite a surprise!
