Lowe's 10 % discount for active, reserves, disabled and retired military now everyday

I missed this one, so thanks goes out to my friend, Lisa, who alerted me to this money saving tip for our nation's military.

Lowe's recently announced that active, reserves, retired and disabled military service members, along with their family members, can now receive a 10% discount everyday. Valid, government issued ID is required to receive this discount.

Normally, Lowe's and Home Depot offer some kind of promotion for our military service personnel around the major patriotic holidays - Veteran's Day, July Fourth, and Memorial Day come to mind - and no other times of the year. Offering 10% discount everyday to these individuals can add up to significant savings for them over the course of the year.

Also a part of this new program, Lowe's is also extending benefits to its employees that are serving.

Of note, all other military veterans not covered above will still receive the military discount on Memorial Day, Veteran's Day and July Fourth weekends.
