I stopped in at the Walmart at Washington Square (Fredericksburg, VA) known as the Ferry Farm Walmart to locals. There I found a hot deal I couldn't pass up. I found some Boys' Hanes sweat shirts for just a buck on clearance. Though the medium (7-8) is big on my little guy, it is a great size for putting over other shirts, so still something that will see some use sooner rather than later.
The remodel there looks complete and I was wowed. There is a nice grocery section now, complete with fresh fruits and vegetables. There was even a small section of gluten free food! It does look like they are focused more on groceries now, rather than normal Walmart goods. But I liked it! I wouldn't mind shopping there rather than fighting traffic to go to the one in Central Park or in Massaponnax. It is still a long drive for me, but considering I've avoided that Walmart in the past because of their lack variety, that store has now made it back on my list to stop at every now and then.
