Avitae Caffinated Water Review & Giveaway

I recently sampled some Avitae caffeinated water.  What drew me to it?  The concept of getting caffeine by drinking water instead of how I usually get it - by drinking soda pop.  I don't *really* need those extra calories, but I generally don't like the taste of diet. Avitae's caffeinated water means zero calories (versus the 210 calories per bottle in my preferred soda....) and a nice pick me up.  210 calories per bottle times two bottles per day adds up to 153,300 calories per year (approximately 44 pounds).

Good to know: there's only 45 mg of caffeine in the whole bottle, fairly comparable to soda (and less than coffee, by the way.)

What surprised me about Avitae?

It tasted just like water, plain old water!  Somehow I had it in my head that because it contained caffeine, that there would be a different taste to it.  Nope!  It was actually quite refreshing. 

My husband's take

You might not want to chug the water.  He drank his bottle rather quickly and was surprised to find himself just slightly jittery.  Normally, he nurses his coffee or soda, but he drank the water right down in thirst.  When I questioned whether he thought the very mild case of the jitters was enough to make him never want Avitae again, he said no.  He would just not drink the whole bottle all at once.
