BN.com's free classics this week: Around the World in 5,792 pages

The free ebook classics promo at BN.com won't last much longer... so get these free ebooks while you can.  The program runs through September 14 and changes weekly.  This week's free ebooks for your nook are:

  • Kim, by Rudyard Kipling
  • The Jungle Books, by Rudyard Kipling
  • Prince and the Pauper, by Mark Twain
  • Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, by Mark Twain
  • Fairy Tales, by Hans Christian Anderson
  • Arabian Knights, by Anonymous
  • Canterbury Tales, by Geoffrey Chaucer
  • Enchanted Castle and Five Children in It, by Edith Nesbit
  • King Solomon's Mines, by R. Rider Haggard
  • Gulliver's Travels, by Jonathan Swift
  • Two Years Before the Mast, by Richard Henry Dana
  • Sailing Alone Around the World, by Joshua Slocum
My 9 year old wants me to download the Jungle Books, which could be a good thing to keep on the nook for a trip.  She likes to read and read the nook on a trip this summer.  I have actually read at least two of these titles, so I'm not that uncultured!  I read a little Kipling in high school, but not these titles.  We did read some Chaucer, including Canterbury Tales, which is great for those with a dry sense of humor.  Enjoy!  Check back next week to see what's new.
