Pier 1 Outdoor Papasan is on my list!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Spring has sprung here in Virginia and I'm looking forward to jazzing up my outdoor space.  I want my front porch to be a welcome spot for both me and visitors.  Since I'm one of those parents who likes to be outside with my kids when they are playing, I want to be comfortable too.  Long before I moved to Virginia, I had a Papasan chair from Pier 1.  Last week, I was thinking that it would be nice to have one again.  I missed the way it fit so well in corners and provided the extra room a mommy needs to read or snuggle with a kid in their lap.

Did you know that a lot of Pier 1's furniture is actually indoor/outdoor?  Many of their pieces can be used to decorate indoors or outdoors, giving you great flexibility with design.  Rugs, seating and wall decor allow you to bring the inside out or the outside in, depending on your perspective.

Getting back to the idea of having an outdoor Papasan on my list, take a look at these bright and springy cushions that would liven up my dreary front porch area, while providing me and guests with a comfortable place to hang out.  Speaking of hanging out, I would love to have been able to live closer to one of the cities where Pier 1 Tweetups are happening.  Atlanta's is April 5 and NYC's is April 20th. If you're in the area, definitely check it out.

These cushions are $80 each and are reversible. Don't you just love the splashes of color? Who wants boring when you can use bold colors to make a statement?  The Papasan base is sold separately, but remember that you can switch out cushions by season to change your look.

I also liked Pier 1's Swingasan.  Who says swings are just for kids? If you're looking to update your outdoor furniture, definitely check out all that Pier 1 has to offer.

Hi I found you through Social Moms on a discussion you commented on & found your response very helpful, so I decided to visit you. I plan on reading your blog from front to back (so to speak). My husband and I are kind of living on one income for the time being (until I can get my free lance writing career up & running) so any helpful advice is much appreciated. I am also new to blogging & I am trying to get into the hang of Reviews & Giveaways so I need advice there too.

I love the styles of these colorful retro chairs! I'm definitely needing new outdoor furniture right now. I'm starting from scratch again because our old stuff was rusted terribly & had to be trashed.

I am working Skirt.com (unpaid) but I am working on a paid piece online, plus I am working on getting some things published in magazines...I have a 2011 Christian Writer's Market so I am working there. I have tried Yahoo Contributor Network & I don't really like what they do. I am more of a faith writer & life writer, they are too harsh on muse. Thanks for the advice!
