Sam's Club: Free Skin Cancer screening on Saturday, May 14 (mark your calendar!)

Skin cancer kills.  I ought to know.  My paternal grandfather died of skin cancer.  He had a lesion behind his ear and assumed for months it was just his glasses rubbing.  By the time he finally broke down and sought medical attention, the cancer had spread.  He endured some surgeries, and even lost his ear.  In the end, he lost his life.

Sam's Club will be offering free skin health screenings on Saturday, May 14, at participating Sam's Clubs across the country.  The first 100 members who sign up at their club will receive a free DermaScan skin test.  May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month - and there's no better time to think about what you can do this summer to protect your skin.

Find a club near you that will be offering the DermaScans.  Even better, check out their list of upcoming free screenings that you can take advantage of in the coming months.
