Sam's Club has been running health screenings free for its members for the past several months and even has events scheduled through the end of the year. August's event, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, will focus on Vision Screenings, though Glucose and Blood pressure screenings are also being provided. Glucose tests will be available for the first 100 members (likely an A1C), so please get there early if you want to ensure that you receive the test.
Find the Sam's Club nearest you that will be hosting the free screening on Saturday. Use the locator tool to get a list of participating Sam's Clubs in your state. These tests are free to Sam's Club members.
Note: September will also bring free diabetes screenings, October will focus on women's health, November on Digestive health, and January 2012 will bring heart health. Many of these future events include glucose testing.
