The Infiniti Pro by Conair™ 1 inch Ceramic Flat Iron review

Hair is something that my pre-teen has just discovered can be a lot of fun to style. She still has her ponytail days, but more often, she wants to use a curling iron or flat iron to give herself some style. Recently, I was sent a new Infiniti Pro by Conair 1 inch Ceramic Flat Iron to review.  Check out some of these pics and then read on for what we thought of this product.... and check out the giveaway item at the bottom of this post!
The Infiniti Pro by Conair 1 inch Ceramic Flat Iron is very compact and slim.  This is something that is always good since we travel and space in our bags is often tight.  I also loved the heat settings, as hair is not all the same.  For instance, my hair will straighten at a lower temp than my daughter's stubborn, thick waves.  It's always best to use only the heat you need to effect the style you wish, because heat can damage hair and dry it out.  When you turned it on, the light blinked to let you know it was heating up.

This is my daughter's hair before we used the Infiniti Pro by Conair 1 inch Ceramic Flat Iron.  Note the stubborn waves.  Her hair often poofs out, and that's something she hates!

Here is a picture of me flat ironing her hair.  I was trying to balance the camera and the flat iron, so I ended up with a little too much hair in the iron this time.  For thick hair, it's best to partition and iron from the bottom of your head up.  This is section 1 of 3 for my thickhaired child.  Having this hair, which would be under her layers, flat will help keep her hair from annoyingly puffing out.

Straight hair!  This is a side-view of her hair after we finished flat ironing it.  She is growing out her bangs, which have a distinct cow lick to them.  The flat iron didn't take out the cowlick per se, but it definitely made her bangs lay flatter.  Her hair turned out nice and sleek and not frizzy.

I also use the Infiniti Pro to straighten my own hair (less thick and less wavy than my daughter's), something I can do with ease.  It literally takes me about 5 minutes to smooth out any errant waves and I even pull the iron toward my head at the very end to give it a slight inward and under curl.

As I mentioned, there are several heat settings available on the Infiniti Pro by Conair 1 inch Ceramic Flat Iron.  30 to be exact!  The highest one reaches 455 degrees Fahrenheit, for those with difficult to iron hair, so be sure to start the dial back at the first setting and incrementally turn it up to truly dial in your hair's magic straightening number.  The iron also heats up in 15 seconds, a great feature for those of us always on the go.

Where is it sold?  Glad you asked!  It's sold nationwide at mass market and drug store retailers for about $39.99, and it's also available at www.conair.com.

I love Conair products and I'm happy to be able to giveaway one of their fashionable Conair Impressions Cushion Brushes (see photo below).  It's a nice design for those of us who like more than solid colors.

Retail price $7.99
To enter to win a  Conair Impressions Cushion Brush, leave me a comment below letting me know what why you want to win it!  Is your brush just tired and you need a refresh, or are you excited to add a splash of color and design to your bathroom?  Whatever the reason is, just leave a comment on this post to enter to win.  Be sure to include your email address or make sure that it's visible on your Blogger profile.  I'll draw a winner on or about August 6th, so get your entry in before then.  You must be 18 or older and a US resident (as it can only be shipped to a US address) to enter, and this contest is void where prohibited.  Sponsor will be responsible for shipping this prize to you.

My thanks to Conair for the great opportunity to review the Infiniti Pro by Conair 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Iron and for providing me with a Conair Impressions Cushion Brush (which my pre-teen nearly immediately laid claim to. Seems she wanted a brush with a design to claim as her own).

Disclosure:  Conair provided me with products and information to review at no cost to me.  The opinions expressed are 100% my own or related to my family's experience with the product.  I was not compensated to write this review.

8/8:  The winner has been selected and verified --- congrats to Louis H.!  Enjoy your stylish brush!

My mom needed a brush so I gave her my purple Conair one, but now I don't have one. :( So, I want this brush because I'm currently brush-less (and it's really cute!)
