Consumers to pay more for popcorn soon?

This year's drought may affect prices for popcorn at the grocery stores, this according to a Weather.com article discussing the heavy drought conditions the mid-west suffered this summer.  Not expected:  movie going consumers aren't likely to pay more for the already overpriced buckets o' popcorn that they enjoy at their favorite flicks.  To put it in perspective, it can easily cost as much or more than your admission tickets for concessions.

Popcorn may be yet another item to add to the evergrowing list of items that will cost more due to the drought conditions.
