Sam's Club Free Screening October 13: Women's Health

If you follow my blog, you might notice a recurring theme of me mentioning free health screenings, such as those offered monthly at Sam's Clubs.  Preventative health is very important and I know many are without insurance in this tough economy.  Free screenings can help fill in the gaps and perhaps lead to better health.

This Saturday, October 13, participating Sam's Clubs will be offering a free health screening with a focus on women's health.  As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, though truly, cancer doesn't care what month it is when it strikes.  You need to focus on your breast health every month, and not just October.

The free screenings may vary, but their website lists them as:  TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), blood pressure, BMI (body mass index), glucose, total cholesterol, HDL (high-density lipoprotein) and a take-home breast self-exam gel packs.

Free screenings are typically limited to the first 100 members and will be offered from 11 AM to 3 PM local prevailing time.   Find a Sam's Club near you.
