Is the Flu near you? Check out this interactive map to see if it is. It's user reported, which could be a good indicator since not everyone goes to the doctor for flu.
Google's Flu Map pretty much shows most of the CONUS under intense or high flu rates. They gather search results (looking specifically for flu-related type of queries) to determine levels in each state.
The CDC's flu map lags behind, mainly because of the lag in data. Their map is based on older reporting information that they've analyzed.
How's it looking in your neck of the woods? Is there flu near you? So far, I haven't seen or heard of a lot of people with the flu, though I'm being extra careful when I'm out and about. Remember, sick people head to the grocery store and drug store to stock up, before going home to crash! Take special care with touching carts and doors.
