Keurig Mini Plus Brewer Recall information (you can request repair online)

If you purchased a Keurig Mini Plus Brewer in the past, please make sure you take heed of an important recall.

You can request a repair kit online, after determining whether your brewer was affected by the recall.  Go to Keurig.com and scroll all the way to the bottom and look for a link "Product Recall".  Or just click this link.  This will direct you to another page where you can enter in pertinent information, including your address, serial number, date of purchase, etc. to determine whether your brewer is covered under the recall.



After successfully sending them my information, I received a confirmation screen indicating a fix would be sent out in early January.  Meanwhile, brew at an arm's length and don't brew in quick succession.

I purchased mine in September 2012 as part of a rebate offer promotion.  These were hot Christmas gifts back then, so you may have given one as a gift.  If you did, please share this post with your recipient so that they can investigate whether theirs is included or not.  The purchase dates for affected models go back to December 2009.  The brewer came in a variety of colors and the serial number is coded to color.  Please also visit the CPSC recall alert on this model to see a list of affected serial number ranges.  Toll free, you can also call this number:  (844) 255-7886  Please bear in mind that while their normal hours are 8-8, they will be closed Christmas and New Year's Day.
