Mars/Snickers candy recall does not affect US

Panicked about that Snickers you just ate after seeing a Mars candy recall splashed all over your Social Media streams? 

A recall was announced for Mars candy bars, affecting 55 countries.  The issue of plastic bits in Snickers bar reported to the company back in January, according to the BBC, was traced back to a factory in the Netherlands.  The BBC also provides a list of affected products, so if you're in the UK or a European country, click the link above to see the list.

The BBC also reports that US made candy is not subject to the recall. The recall is focused mainly on European countries.
