Fun Betty Crocker 'Simple Joys' prize pack giveaway

Thanks to all who entered this contest! The winner has been chosen, determined by Random.org (Comment 4) and the winner has been notified. Thank you all for the great feedback and I can't wait until I have another giveaway to host here at Making Ends Meet!

~Pinching Abe

As a member of My Blog Spark, I was privileged to receive some Betty Crocker fruit snacks via mail to review. The package contained a wonderfully fun prize pack comprising of two varieties of Betty Crocker fruit snacks, a frisbee, a yo-yo and an old fashioned pick up sticks game.

I opened the prize package and instantly gravitated away from the toys and right to the Betty Crocker fruit snacks. I had to wrestle my 4-year-old to get my hands on the Create-a-Bug box to give those snacks a try. Honestly, I wanted to make sure I got to try at least one of these snacks before my children and their friends devoured them.

One huge draw for me was the fact they were Gluten Free. Gluten free snacks are a necessity for me and these yummy snacks are just what I need some days to tide me over until dinner. They taste very fruity and actually contain vitamin C since they are made with real fruit juice. These fruit snacks also sport Box Tops for Education, which is also a nice draw for me. I am the Box Top parent coordinator for my school, so I typically gravitate to products with those pink logos on top.

Another nice thing is that each pouch of fruit snacks is only 100 calories. That helps me to enjoy a pack (or two?) without guilt. For moms of gluten free kids, these are a great snack because they have (a) vitamin C; (b) are only 100 calories and (c) are a safe snack for school lunches or parties!

Confession time: I ate more of these snacks than my kids. The Fruit Gushers were so yummy and the Fruit by the Foot was too. Gluten free moms need to keep their own secret stash of these great tasting snacks.

Giveaway!

I know you all would love a chance to win one of these prize packs! Here's how to win:

Mandatory entry: Between 10/7/09 and 10/15/09 post a comment below letting me know one simple joy that you have in your life. It could be grabbing a cup of coffee on your porch all by yourself or it could be locking your bathroom door for a hot bath alone. Just name one simple joy in your life.

1 Extra entry: Tweet this contest on Twitter and post a comment with your Twitter user name.

1 Extra entry: Bloggers, blog about this contest and come back to comment, leaving me a link to your post.

Winner must respond to my email (please provide one in the comments if you are not a Blogger blogger) within 48 hours of me sending a winning email. Thank you again to General Mills and My Blog Spark who provided product samples and prize pack to me for review. While I received the samples and prize pack for free, my review is genuine. These are yummy tasting, gluten free snacks. As a gluten free momma on the go, they are a great snack to tuck in my purse for when I need a little something while out and about.
