I'd read about some freebies at Dollar General, using their coupons found by the ads or at the registers. One blogger (unnamed here) said that Band-aids would be free with coupon. Alas, the coupon specifically states the name of the Band-aid product on the coupon and it is not the $1 product on the shelves (more like $2.75).
However, the Carefree Dollar General coupon does say any size and there were plenty of $1 Carefree products to choose from on the shelves at my local DG. The coupon states one per purchase, which, as we all know, is subject to the cashier's own interpretation. For me, one per purchase means one per item purchased. I have seen coupons say one per transaction, a key distinction, if you ask me. So for the sake of saving myself some coupon drama, I got only one Carefree liner package using the Dollar General coupon.
The coupon expires 1/30, so there's still time to make a few trips into the store to stock up on some girl paraphernalia.

Good lookin' out! Many people read blogs to save time and don't scrutinize each deal. Overzealous cut and pasting often means important details get overlooked and non-existent deals (like free Band-Aids) spread across the web.
