Ukrops in Fredericksburg closes Jan 30; prices now slashed to 35% off

I had to run to town today for my allergy shots anyway, so I made a point of stopping in at Ukrops. It was really sad to see it emptying out, but I know that's how it goes. I was hoping to see a lot more gluten free items left on the shelves, but it was starting to look wipes out. However, I was still able to snag some De Boles rice fettucine, which is just as good as spaghetti in my book. I grabbed the rest - 9 boxes - and was pretty happy to get them 35% cheaper than normally, which meant $1.75 a box.

Even at 35% off, the cereal is just an OK deal. I did grab a few boxes, mainly because I needed some and with the discount it was the normal sale price. I also grabbed some Land O Lakes Butter because it will freeze. Even milk was 35% off and I picked up some Lactose Free milk because that is what I drink and it should be shelf-stable until half way through March.

Overall, I saved close to $60 due to their discount of 35% and anything that was on sale still rang up at sale price. I think I'll sneak back next week to see what's left.

Best news: They still are taking coupons. I saw lots of baby formula and diapers so combining discount with coupons can really save a mom a lot of money. Stock up!
