Sand Gone Product Review and Giveaway (videos!)

I have been meaning to do a product review of Sand Gone, but weather here has not cooperated.  We have a river beach nearby that we like to visit, but it seemed that every time I wanted to go with the kids, it rained or something else was going on.  Today, I finally made it to the beach and finally got to give Sand Gone a try!  I took a few videos of the sand removal process.

Obviously, for my son, we were in a hurry since he loudly proclaimed that he had to go to the potty. Fortunately, Sand Gone rather quickly got the sand off his arms and legs.  And in case you were wondering, no we didn't quite make it....

This is my daughter's video.  She was more willing to stand still for me to use Sand Gone to remove sand from her limbs. She said that it was soft when I asked her if it hurt for me to rub the pad on her leg. On the way home, I told the kids it was bath night, and she asked me if it would still smell like Sand Gone when she was bathed.  I think she really liked the scent!

One thing I really liked about Sand Gone was that it got the sand off fast and easy.  I am not saying it got every single speck of sand off, but it got enough off that the kids minimally tracked sand into the car.  Our river sand is quite course and pebbly - not like the sand you would find on an ocean beach in Daytona - so it was nice that it took both the finer sand and the more course sand off of the kids so that it wouldn't be in my car.

I see many uses for Sand Gone.  Other than packing it into a beach bag to take with us to the beach, I plan to use it for when my son plays in the sand box.  I can dust him off before he tracks sand into the kitchen.  This is a huge plus for me since I am 99% of the time barefoot in the house and can't stand cruddies on the bottom of my feet.
