Stride Rite has a coupon code to help you out if you can't make it to their in-store savings event that ends on 8/29. In participating stores, shoes are buy one, get one half off. There's a link to check to see if your store is participating on the Stride Rite site.
If your store isn't participating, you can still shop online and use SCHOOL2010 to get 20% off your $50 purchase. They have some really cute Star Wars: Clone Wars shoes, but I need them in a wide size, which isn't available for the one pair he really wants. The normal Star Wars: Clone Wars shoe is sold out though! I'm going to try to call a few stores to see if they happen to have it in his size. Otherwise, I'll just have to keep checking back!
