Pepsi Next's Paradise Mango and Cherry Vanilla Taste Test

Where to find Pepsi Next Mango/Cherry Vanilla:  Target, Walmart, & major drug stores

A PR agency recently reached out to me and I got the opportunity, thanks to Pepsi, to try out two new flavors of Pepsi Next.  I haven't seen these yet in stores and I love to try products before they hit the store shelves.  Being a mom, you know we have to share with our kids.  I had two kids begging me for some and I did cave in.  But only after I drank a whole can of the Cherry Vanilla Pepsi Next all by my self.  So what did we think?


Pepsi Next's Paradise Mango:  By far this was the favorite of my 7 year old, though my daughter and I didn't like the mango much (perhaps it would be good in a mixed drink?)  A little went a long way, as I thought it tasted too sweet.  My son also loves fruity flavored soda (particularly the Mexican branded soda I've reviewed a few times) and he truly relished in having the whole can to himself.

Pepsi Next's Cherry Vanilla:  Both my pre-teen and myself preferred this soda over the Paradise Mango.  I normally don't drink vanilla flavored soda, so drinking it was a bit of a stretch for me.  However, I found the blend of vanilla with the cherry very refreshing, though could still taste the Pepsi Next flavor hanging in the background.  I also noticed that it tasted the best when very cold.  Warm soda definitely was not ideal, though I normally don't refrigerate my soda.
