Free Pepsi Stuff points --- Receive 6 points for visiting Pepsi Recycling site and taking challenge

Need more free Pepsi Stuff points? Go on over to the Pepsi Recycling site and take the challenge. A little birdie will fly around the screen and ask you some easy questions about recycling. It is simply amazing how long a can will power a laptop (hint, hint) and then the little birdie will ask you to take the pledge, which is worth two points. The quiz itself is worth 4 Pepsi Stuff points. Warning: the site was running painfully slow, so it may take a few minutes. At the end, the birdie will give you the option of signing up for Pepsi Stuff or going there if you are a member already. I thought maybe the points would be added automatically; not so! Make sure you click on the continue button above his head to generate the emails which will send you your points. I received two separate emails - one with two codes (2 points each) and one with one code (2 points) for the total of 6.

6 points is worth a music download, or you can save them up to order something from the store as you add points to your account. There's always sweepstakes draws too!

Pepsi Stuff free code - worth 5 points - not sure how long it will be up

If you are doing the Pepsi Stuff promotion, you need to zip on over to Pepsistuff.com and log into your account. At the very top in the middle, you should see a red-semi circle offering a free song. Click on that and then enter your email address and then the number/letter verification. A pop up will bring up a code. You can either print it or write it down. Then go back to Pepsistuff.com and log in (if you weren't auto logged in) and enter the code. It is worth 5 points! I am not sure how long it will last, so go sooner rather than later.

If you are not a Pepsi Stuffer like me, it may still be worth joining. The points you earn can be used toward sweepstakes draws. Someone has to win, why not you?

My Coke Rewards and Pepsi Stuff - two rewards programs you should be doing

I have been a member of My Coke Rewards for over a year, probably closer to two. This is a unique rewards program in which you enter your codes from either 20 oz bottles, 2 liter bottles, 12 packs, or cases. Each code is worth a certain point value (the lowest is 3 points for the 20 oz or the 2 liter bottles) and the highest is worth 20 points, that being for the cases. The 12 packs are worth 10 points each. For a how-to-guide on My Coke Rewards, please check out this article "Coke Rewards Program --- How it works and how to decide if you should join." This article gives a great overview of the program if you are not familiar with it. I have had great success with this program, mainly because I love to drink Classic Coke. I have redeemed for numerous magazines (which can be given to family members, please see my earlier post about free magazines where I discuss how to do this. You don't have to enter your codes every time you happen to have one lying around, but you do need to keep your account current. There's a max of ten codes per day, so you could save them up in bunches of 10 and sit down and enter them all at once. However, don't let your account sit idle for long as after 90 days of non-activity, your points will disappear. My Coke Rewards is slated to end early next year.


Pepsi has recently come out with its Pepsi Stuff promotion, much like the My Coke Rewards program. However, unlike the Coke Rewards program, not all Pepsi products are participating. Mountain Dew is notably absent, much to my dismay as my husband loves Diet Dew. However, he dutifully brings me home caps from his Diet Pepsi when he happens to have one to drink at work.

The premise is basically the same, enter your codes online and redeem for things. Much like Coke, there are sweeps drawings and you can dump your codes to try to win some nice gear or save them up for prizes, which come from their partner, Amazon. You can also redeem cap codes for song downloads, another excellent way to feed your need for music on a budget. All in all, both programs have nice prizes if you are willing to save up. Since they both are continuing through the end of the year, there's plenty of time to save up for something nice.
