Are you part of the 1%?
I ran across an interesting article over at CNN Money. It kind of puts things into perspective! While you probably hear a lot about the "1%" that politicians and TV media discuss ad nauseum, the CNN Money article posits that a good portion of Americans are the 1% --- half of the world's richest 1% live right here in the U.S. Bringing home $34,000, after taxes, makes you one of the 1% richest in the world.

But, a family of 4 making $45,000 is living below the poverty level.
