EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale Review & Giveaway {Bubbles of Love}
As the New Year progresses, I imagine many of you are on a diet or considering one. It seems that losing weight is one of the most popular New Year's resolutions that Americans make each year. And it should be. It is so important to get unwanted (and unneeded) weight off for the health of your body. Extra weight increases the chances of diabetes. It contributes to heart disease. It makes life harder on your joints. Losing weight must be done for yourself, but factor in the well-being of your family too. They love you and don't even want to bear the thought of not having you around.
Eat Smart makes a very sleek and modern bathroom scale. Their ESBS-04 Digital Bathroom Scale has a tempered glass top that is 12" x 13". It also has a very cool blue digital display that's back lit. The maximum capacity is 400 lbs and if you want to weigh yourself in Kilograms or Stones, you just flick the switch on the bottom of this light (less than 5 lbs) scale. The Eat Smart Digital Bathroom Scale takes 4 AAA batteries, which were included (note: they are snugged inside the styrofoam, so make sure you don't throw them away. There was a sticker denoting their placement, so you can find them easily.)
Aside from the design, one thing I truly loved about the Eat Smart Digital Bathroom Scales was that you stepped on and immediately had your weight displayed. There is no stepping on, stepping off, and then stepping back on to get a reading. In this day and age of wanting everything instantly, these scales deliver. There are four precision sensors built into these scales for accuracy.
Want to see them? This is a picture of me weighing myself on these scales....
Buy It: EatSmart Digital Scales are available at Amazon.com. They're under $30 and will look chic in your bathroom. They'll also help you meet your weight loss goal by providing accurate weight measurements.
Win It: You can win your own EatSmart scales featured in this blog post by entering the giveaway below.

Doozy Cards e-cards review and giveaway {Bubbles of Love} - 2 winners!
Another Bubbles of Love review and giveaway! Today, I'm going to talk about Doozy Cards. I am the worst (yes worst) at remembering to send greeting cards. I usually end up getting them out last minute or even late. The irony of this is that I used to merchandise greeting cards for a leading greeting card company and though I was surrounded by cards several times a week, I still couldn't manage to remember to buy one.
For me, sending e-greeting cards is a great solution. Doozy Cards has a large selection of e-cards that you can send for Valentine's Day or any occasion. I got to preview several of their Valentine's Day e-cards and thought they were very cute.
From Doozy Cards:
We create all the animations ourselves and write them in a variety of styles from funny like the cupid tap dance card and doggies in Rome to sincere like Valentine for my daughter and pugs and kisses. You're sure to find just the right e-card to bring a smile to the face of the special people in your life.Would you like to win a year's subscription ($19.95 value) to Doozy Cards? This would come in handy for sending out your valentines electronically. Doozy Cards has generously offered two of my readers a free subscription for one year. They have assured me that no credit card info will be necessary to claim your prize should you win.
Giveaway --- two winners!
Here's what you need to do to enter to win one of the two Doozy Cards subscriptions for this giveaway. Make sure you follow the rules and include your email in the mandatory entry comment or let me know if it is publicly available in your profile (and be sure it is!)
Mandatory entry: Visit Doozy Cards and let me know which Valentine's Day e-card that they have available is your favorite and who you would send it to. I loved this card (Friendship Valentine) and I would send it to all of my online friends! ** You must leave the title of the card you liked in the comment **
Extra entries: Snag some easy extra entries for this giveaway by doing any or all of the following (leave a comment for each action; each action is one entry). Pinching Abe values all of her readers, both new and old! If you already subscribe, are a friend, following on Twitter, just let me know in the comment.

Greenleaf Rose scented products: review and giveaway {Bubbles of Love} (Giveaway closed)
When I think of Valentine's Day, I think of roses! Roses are a symbol of love and romance. Aside from receiving roses as a gift on Valentine's Day, the scent of roses can also help set the mood for the evening.
Greenleaf has several rose scented products to help you get in the mood for Valentine's Day. These items would make a nice treat for yourself, or would be a nice gift too. Greenleaf's new Roses scented spa body scrub will get your skin kissably soft. The rose scent is not overpowering in the shower. A few tips: Follow the directions on the tube and definitely follow up by using a body wash afterward. The scrub will leave behind a residue. The tube I had was hard to dispense in the shower. I had a little difficulty getting the thick scrub out. Still, it left my skin refreshed and invitingly soft, something it desperately needed this winter.
Buy it: You can purchase it at the Greenleaf site for $16 for an 8 oz tube. Other scents that I would love to try would be the Pomegranate, Lavender and Blushing Tulips.
Now, to get your bed linens smelling extra romantic! Greenleaf also sells a Spa Linen Spray in a rose scent. I used the Roses linen spray on my sheets and pillow cases and just loved the scent. What did hubby think? He noticed, but didn't say a word! The scent didn't last a very long time, perhaps a day. I drifted off to sleep smelling like a rose, literally!It was strongest soonest after application. If you plan to freshen your bed linens for a night of romance, I'd recommend spraying about an hour or so beforehand. It is a liquid spray and didn't leave any marks on my sheets once dry.
Other use? I must confess, I truly *love* the scent of rose, so I did spray some in my bathroom to freshen the air. Of course, that isn't what it is intended for, but it did leave the bathroom smelling very sweet.
Buy it: The Roses linen spray is available for $8 for an 8 ounce bottle. They have several other exotic and practical scents to choose from, including Fresh Linen, Orange and Honey, Seaspray, Garden Breeze and more.
I was also able to try Greenleaf's Roses Signature Candle. This 9.5 ounce rose scented candle will burn for 60-80 hours. The first time I used it, I burnt it for about an hour while I steeped in a hot bath to relax. When I blew it out, it hardly looked used at all, with just a small dimpling in the middle around the wick. I know this candle will last me a good, long time. One thing I truly loved about this candle is that it has such a nice, light scent. Every time I walked by the candle, I could smell the rose scent even if it wasn't lit.
Buy it: The Roses Signature Candle costs just $16 and can be purchased at the Greenleaf site. Other Greenleaf Signature Candle scents that intrigue me are Raspberry Lemonade, Tuscan Vineyard and Trellis. They sound like they would smell heavenly.

Swag Code worth 10 Swag Bucks! Hurry, limited to first 300 redemptions! {Bubbles of Love}
Keep reading... the code will appear at the end of this post! First, though, because this is a Valentine's Day themed post, I have to gush on about my *love* for Swag Bucks. I've been a full-fledged Swaggernaut for more than two years. In that time, I've claimed countless Amazon gift codes, which I've used to fund many things. Even if I didn't have enough banked to pay for the whole order, I viewed any codes that Swag Bucks provided as a nice coupon! Here's a list of a few things that I can recall using my Swag Bucks Amazon Gift Codes for...
- Paying for a huge portion of my daughter's DS two years ago. I used my Amazon to bring the cost of that huge expenditure down to $50 by using $80 in Amazon I had banked in my account.
- A printer for my SIL for her birthday
- Several mice! I kill a mice like there's no tomorrow. I currently have a Logitech, which I used Swag Bucks derived Amazon gift codes to buy.
- A Stephen King book for my sister
- A book detailing what those historical markers say for the Commonwealth of Virginia. (This was an impulse buy; I was trying to figure out what a sign said and saw the book and just had to have it. It's in my car.)
- Hershey Kiss fondue maker for my sister for Christmas.
- Plus lots, lots more!
I know this sounds really far fetched, but I know of at least two people that I am Facebook friends with that banked their Amazon gcs from Swag Bucks to help pay for a large portion of their Christmas gifts. Five bucks Amazon here and there from collecting Swag Bucks definitely adds up. I'm sure these two individuals aren't alone. When you know that money is always tight at Christmas time, it just makes sense to find a way to buy gifts throughout the year and Swag Bucks can help you do that.
Ok, now that you've made it this far, here is the code! This code is live from 3:00 PM Eastern Time on 1/15/2011 for 300 redemptions only. Please do not share the code. It is exclusive to us Blog Poppers and we want to share it with our friends and fans! The code is BubblesOfLove and is worth 10 Swag Bucks to everybody! If you are not a member of Swag Bucks, please consider joining with my referral link. Where it asks for a Swag Code, you would put BubblesOfLove in. Plus, by letting me refer you, you will get 30 Swag Bucks to start you off and the 10 that you would get for putting in BubblesOfLove in the Swag Code bar on the registration page.
Disclosure: Swag Bucks provided the exclusive code to Blog Pop specifically for our Bubbles of Love event at no cost to us. This blog post is unpaid. The above post does contain a referral link, which would benefit me if someone signed up for Swag Bucks via that link.
Please check out the linky below and enter some fabulous giveaways! Be sure to visit all of the Blog Pop Blogs (right side bar) to enter to win.

It's been a busy day for the members of Blog Pop! Check out all of the giveaways that are going on right now and be sure to enter as many have low entries. Of course, we're just kicking off the event and it will run through the 16th, so expect a lot more giveaways to be popping up on our blogs this weekend.

$55 CSN Stores Gift Certificate Giveaway {Bubbles of Love}
CSN Stores has over 200 stores to shop from in one easy, convenient site. That means that you can shop for furniture, cookware, briefcases, luggage, pet products and more all from one site. CSN Stores has graciously provided me with a $55 gift certificate to give away to one lucky reader as part of the Bubbles of Love event.
What can you spend that $55 on should you win? Here are a few Valentine's Day themed suggestions.
A Frieling Heart Shaped Springform Pan: Bake the one you love a heart shaped cake to let them know how much you love them. Also perfect for school parties, you can bake the cake and take the frosting and cake decorations to school and let the kids decorate the cake themselves.
I'd love decorate a Valentine's Day cake by completely covering it with those Conversation Hearts.
I also loved the Melissa and Doug DYO Heart Box! This would make an awesome gift for any girly-girl.
My daughter did a similar craft for a jewelery box and absolutely loved the craft. Parents know that Melissa and Doug means quality, so this box should hold up well and not break in five minutes flat.
This craft is rated for ages 4+.
Surprise your true love with a getaway, but let her pack in style with this Rockland 4 piece luggage set in hearts! I loved the look of these and though the $55 gift certificate that CSN is allowing me to give away won't quite cover the cost, the gift certificate will offset almost half the cost.
I love the pull handles, which will make rolling the luggage very easy to do as you stroll through the airport on your way to your destination.
Double your chances of winning by entering Mama Told Me's $65 CSN Stores Gift Certificate giveaway.
Disclosure: Per FTC rules, I disclose that CSN provided me with a gift code to give away. This blog post and a previous teaser post included links to products on their site. I was not otherwise paid to make this post or the one previous.
